SOPA and PIPA bills halts

The American congress has halted the execution of the anti piracy bills for uncertain time. This action was taken after the online encyclopedia ‘Wikipedia’ and some other popular websites came in opposition of this bill.
The leader of the senate Mr. harry reed has made the decision to delay the voting process on Protect Intellectual Property Act (PIPA) on coming Monday on this Friday. He wrote on twitter “due to some recent activities on the internet world, I have made the decision to delay the voting on PIPA”. The republican chairman of the judicial council Lamar smith said “till the day when there is a common decision in the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), there will not be any voting conducted on this bill”. This action was taken after when Wikipedia and the blogging site ‘wordpress’ along with thousands of website stopped the service on Wednesday for 24 hours. The goal of this bill is to make a strict law and formulate the penalties against the user’s online piracy of the music and movies. The opponents of these bills say that this will encourage the internet censorship.
